During this presentation, Ryan McNulty and Morgan McLaughlin will be highlighting the overall benefits that an internship program brings to any company. Though this presentation, we will highlight how to create your own program, how to get organizational support and lessons learned from our own experience that will help you succeed throughout this process.

Ryan McNulty

Ryan McNulty is an HR Business Partner with Tech Data Corporation and holds a SHRM-CP certification.
Ryan started his career with the Walt Disney World resort in Orlando, FL followed by joining Tech Data Corporation in 2011 as a Sales representative. Ryan’s career in HR started in 2014 as a Talent Acquisition Specialist working with Tech Data’s Internship Program and Entry-Level positions. Ryan progressed to a Talent Acquisition Partner role and then a Supervisor, Talent Acquisition before becoming an HR Business Partner in 2020. As a Supervisor, Ryan led a team of seven recruiters filling a variety of roles in North America along with Tech Data’s Internship Program. Under Ryan’s leadership, the program grew from 18 interns to 50+ when he left supporting the program in 2020. Ryan’s experience working with Sr Executives and University leadership was a key driver in growing the Tech Data Internship Program.

Morgan Mclaughlin

Morgan Mclaughlin joined the Tech Data Talent Acquisition team in 2019, as a University Talent Acquisition Partner. In this role, Morgan focuses on managing university relationships throughout North America and spreading awareness of open entry-level positions for students. In addition to this, Morgan oversees the company’s summer internship program. Morgan graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors’ in Mass Communications.
