Friday 11:15 am – 12:15 pm

Session Description

66% of the workforce today are not engaged or are actively disengaged. 85% of the jobs that todays students will be doing in 2030 have not been invented yet. Gone are the days when business results only are what define a successful leader. Leaders are now graded on things like employee engagement, retention, succession, customer satisfaction. Leaders today must focus on the behaviors, competencies, soft skills that are needed to manage our ever-changing work environment and keep their workforce engaged and productive in a meaningful and connected way. Business results are table stakes and, in this complex, urgent, always on world, it will be those leaders who connect with the hearts and minds of their people and rally them toward a common vision for the future that will be successful in this VUCA world. These will be the leaders and companies with the highest engagement scores and 17-20% higher productivity, sales/revenue and profit. Successful leaders do a few things really well: Show up with intention, Engage others with intention and Have heart. Passive leadership does not cut it!
